A Prayer for Light

Father of love and light:

Bless these vessels of Your news as they stand and deliver Your Good News tomorrow. May they reflect Your glory. May Your light so illuminate them that they bring light into each room they enter. May that light quench the darkness that would invade their own corners. My that Light chase away the darkness that would encroach upon their soul and their effectiveness. May they share the LIGHT that has “lighted them” with those who are groping about in the darkness of their lives. May that bright light warm the Souls of each of this Thy people. May they enjoy the lightness of that Light and rejoice!
