Rest in the Word

Father:

Bless the hearts of these Your servants. We love them, but not as You do. You loved them enough to give Your Son’s blood for them. And, God, they love You. In a culture that twists Your Words, may they have the integrity to remain true to Your Truths. In a market that calls for creativity may they be cautious in their craft. In a connected world where they can hear professional presenters may they not be drawn away by crafty words. In a time where each is encouraged to “own their own truth,” may they not be tossed about with every wind of doctrine. In a religious environment that constantly the big and the new, may they find peace and contentment in Your simple Word. And may they trust the truth that Your Word will be effective to its purpose and never fail! Help these to trust Your Word, completely. And thank You for giving us your secure Word.
