Christ and Him....

God,

Help these Your men to focus. There are so very many voices competing for their attention. There are issues that must be addressed. There are landmines that must be avoided. There are opinions in-between those extremes. Father, may we force ourselves into Your Word. May these know and proclaim Christ and Him crucified, the King of Glory. May the confusion of experts and the misinformation of others drive us into Your Unchanging and Unchangeable Truths. May we avoid any opinion that would cause division among Your people. May we not feel compelled into commenting on every matter that makes the media. May we seek to bring peace in a day determined to divide Your Family. May we believe the best is yet to be in a time when the voices of division tell us the future is uncertain. May we preach the Gospel and not our opinions. Bless these Your men with such determination. May they know that is all You want and all their listeners need.
