For the freedom

Father,

Thank You for this land we live in. Thank You for the freedom and wealth that has allowed Your Gospel to go into all the world. Thank you for the blessings that we have enjoyed. Thank You for the leadership in our country. May they lead in a way that we can live quiet and peaceable lives with all reverence toward You and with proper conduct. Thank You that we have been allowed to minister in a land where we have not had to compromise Your Word. Thank You for the freedom to worship You without free in this land. Thank You for those who sacrifice and have sacrificed for those freedoms. Help these Your men to never compromise Your Truth for their comforts. Help us to not be “at ease” with this gift but to make the most of the opportunity. Help them to know how to confront culture without becoming political pawns for anyone. Help them to keep strong in a time where drama threatens to discourage them.
