Your Skills

God,

May each of us who stand before a group of Your people tomorrow remember that this is never about us, that we are not the center of attention even if we are the one in focus. May each of us strive to blur our own image into that of Your Son. May we remember that our mission is to hold up Christ and Him crucified. That we are to make You famous and not ourselves, or our communicative skills, or our creative acumen. May we use every gift You have given us, yet never forget those gifts are from You and are to be used to magnify You. Thank You for the utter joy and privilege to represent You and to speak Your Words. And thank You for each of these, Your servants, who ever demonstrate such humility.
