A Prayer for Those Who Struggle

God,

Today we pray for all of those in ministry who struggle. We pray for those who struggle with occasional depression. Father, may their confidence not be in their worth in the eyes of others, but in their worth in Thee. We pray for those who struggle with chronic depression or clinical disorders that may hinder their work. We pray that they can find the resources and stay with those resources that can help them long term. We pray that they will realize their worth to You even in those times of severe self-loathing or doubt. God we pray for those who struggle with thoughts of suicide. We pray that the voices, memories, justifications can be dealt with or turned off and that they may confront those demons and be more whole. And, in praying for these we pray for all who struggle with sin, which is all of us. May we love You more than our sin. Father, we pray for understanding leaders, family members, and friends. We ask our God that for each of us we can endure to the end. Thank You for the Hope of Heaven where You will wipe away all tears and every heart will be whole. And thank You for Jesus, who was tempted in all points as we are and is a High Priest who can be touched with the feelings of our hurts.
