A Prayer for Peace

Father,

I pray today for Your peace to reign in the hearts and minds of this, Your minister. In a world boiling over in conflict and bathing itself in unrest and uncertainty, it seems easy for us to allow the evil one to bring our focus on the drama and possible conflicts that surround us. With challenges all around, may they look above. Whatever it is that might trouble them, may they find Your peace. May they bring Your peace into the lives of those who hear them. Comfort their anxieties and calm their concerns. Help them to come to peace with those with whom there may be unnecessary friction.
