A Prayer for those who Preached

Father:

Today we pray for those who are not preaching but wish they were. We pray for those who have given their life and years to the public proclamation of The Word but who for time and/or health no longer are blessed to preach each week. Thank you for the life you’ve lived and the faith you exhibit. Thank you for supporting those you listen to each week now. Help those who will preach today to remember that we first stand on the solid Rock who is the Word but to also remember we stand with those who have gone before as Men of God. Bless each of us and help us to live for You.
