KY: Scott Pena is leaving Fairfax in Winchester, KY and going to the Berea congregation in that area. Scoop to Adam Faughn.

AL/TX: Jason Moon has been hired as the new pulpit minister at the Waterview congregation in Texas.  This leaves the pulpit at Roebuck Parkway in Birmingham, AL open. Their website is godspeakstoday.org. Jason scoops himself!

TN/AL: Mike Baker in a similar scoop announces that he will be leaving Crieve Hall's associate role to take the pulpit at Florence Boulevard in Alabama. He will begin July 20.

AL: Abel Nicholas is going to Greenville, AL to be their Youth Minister.

AL: The Broad Street church in Phenix City is seeking a fulltime pulpit minister. Broad Street is a 93-year old congregation located in East Alabama. They are a very diverse congregation of around 110 members and are in the midst of an extended period of growth. They do not  have elders, but do strive to work together. They hope to recognize elders soon.  The current minister is leaving on good terms and will be involved in the process of finding a new preacher. "The ideal candidate will be a married, family man with a Bible degree or equivalent preaching experience who is able to work individually as well as in conjunction with our part-time youth minister and members. The ideal candidate will also be a dynamic speaker who is outgoing, organized, and motivated to plant the seed in the community. Experience with technology including social media is preferred, and the congregation will provide both a desktop computer in the office as well as a laptop for use outside of the office."  Interested? Send a detailed resume with references as well as links or CDs of at least 3 audio/video sermons. Any other relevant materials including sermon outlines and/or bulletin articles may be included as well. Send to preachersearch@broadstreetchurch.com or to P.O. Box 2603 Phenix City, AL 36867.
