TN: The Eastwood church in Paris has hired Joshua Manning. He'll start in March. Joshua leaves the Clearview congregation in Lyles, Hickman County.. KY: The Oak Valley church in Benton is looking for a preacher. Oak Valley is a rural congregation in west Kentucky with about 80-100 members. While the pay is not bad, they will allow a secular job as well. If interested call David Hendrickson  (270) 559-3213.

 

OK: The Henryetta church is currently looking for a youth minister. The applicant must be mature ready to evangelize the youth in the community and surrounding area. He must be sound in the faith and ready to teach. Henryetta is a congregation of about 140-150. They do have a house. AL: Scoop to Justin Guin: Wood Avenue in Florence has hired Rickey Berger to be the associate to replace Evan Burns. Rickey was involved in full-time mission work.  

 

AL: James Wyers who has preached in Winfield for over 3 decades official last date as their preacher is April 29. He will be retiring from pulpit work and will continue as one of the elders.  Here is Winfield’s website: http://www.winfieldcofc.org/index.html

 

KY: The Seven Oaks Church of Christ in Mayfield is seeking a capable youth minister who will work with the youth and families of the church to grow their faith and plan activities. He will need to be able to work with all ages in the church and follow the leadership of the elders. He will need to be proficient in teaching classes and leading devotionals. TN:  Scoop to Justin Smith: Matt Grinder has accepted the Youth and Family Minister position at Crosswinds church in Humboldt. Matt is currently an admissions recruiter for FHU. He will start full-time at Crosswinds on January 28th.  

 

MS: Scoop info to Sellers Crain. Magnolia Bible College is being revived to become Magnolia Bible Center. They hope to expand services there as they can including a School of Biblical Studies.

 

TN: Tom Riley is leaving his role in development at Lipscomb and has agreed to work with the Nolen Hills church. Nolen Hills is a fairly new church plant in Nolensville planted by the Brentwood Hills church.

AL: The North Alabama Christian Children's Home, in Florence, Alabama, is seeking dedicated christian house parents who would like to make a difference in the lives of children who have been abused and/or abandoned and/or neglected. They have an opening in one of the boys home. This is an exciting and challenging ministry. They typically hire the wife to be the full-time employee which allows the husband to work off campus, or attend college (HCU, etc).  There is a nice financial package for this full-time work, including a salary, free lodging, no utility bills, free groceries, and use of a vehicle (and gas) to transport one's children. TN: Darrell Blankenship announced his resignation from Charlotte Heights Sunday. He has preached there for many years and will remain till the end of 2018. He plans to hold more meetings, conduct weekend seminars, and to worship with his children and grandchildren at Mount Juliet. He will be available for fill-in work. TN: The White House Church of Christ has hired Matt Shouse to be their new pulpit minister. He will begin his work there February 4. He will be leaving a part-tine role as associate minister at the Lafayette Church of Christ where he has served the past 3 years.
