FL: The Scenic Hills Church of Christ in Pensacola, FL is looking for a full-time Preaching Minister to join their staff to take on primary preaching responsibilities, while sharing a percentage with their two other Ministers (Youth and College). He will also coordinate the Connections groups, which are divided by age-stages. Scenic Hills is a congregation of around 200 members and has elders and deacons. Ministry experience is required. They certainly didn’t tell me to share this, but I understand that the Chick-Fil-A about two blocks away let’s preachers eat free - ALL THE TIME! Send résumé to office@scenichillschurchofchrist.org


FL: Jason Ridgeway gets this week’s first self-scoop. He has been hired by Wesconnett church in Jacksonville. 


AR: Howard Bobo let’s us know that the church in Hardy is looking for a full-time preacher. He is currently the part time preacher. For more info contact him at bobohd82@yahoo.com.


TN/MS: The Eastside church in Maryville has hired Wayne Rodgers to be their new preacher. Wayne has been at the Nesbit church in Mississippi so it’s a safe assumption they will be looking for a preacher.


TN: Aubrey Johnson is moving to begin his work as the new preacher at Old Hickory. Don Loftis who has been there for many years will remain on in a transitional period. This, of course, means the Southern Hills pulpit in Franklin will be open. 


AL: The University church in Montgomery has named Tucker Presley as their youth minister.


OK: The 8th and Lee congregation in Lawton. Is looking for a new preacher. They would prefer to find a younger married person with a family still at home if possible but will not limit those applying to just that group.  Their attendance is roughly 100 per Sunday and they have 2 elders and 6 deacons currently serving. GA: The Warner Robins church seeks to hire a full-time minister who will provide a balanced ministry of preaching, teaching, visiting, and assisting members in implementing their vision for growth. They are a congregation of 230 members and have purchased 9 acres for a new building to hold 450+ with room to grow.  The ideal candidate should have 12+ years experience as a minister.  A minimum Biblical education equivalent of a bachelor's degree or a graduate of a Biblical college or institute is required but a master’s degree in Bible is preferred. “He should be scripturally married, be of strong personal faith, and be doctrinally sound.” Responsibilities include preaching, teaching and active participation in the life of the church family.  Interested? GA: The Warner Robins church is also looking for a full-time Education/Youth Minister Position. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years  experience as a minister.  A minimum Biblical education equivalent of a bachelor's degree or a graduate of a Biblical college or institute is required. “He should be scripturally married, be of strong personal faith, and be doctrinally sound.” Primary responsibilities include working with the education deacon and youth deacons (6th-12th grades, KC4C, & L2L) to plan and implement all aspects of the education and youth programs. MS: The Mayfield church in Saltillo is seeking an “educated and experienced preacher who is knowledgeable of the scriptures and has effective preaching, teaching, and interpersonal skills.” The preacher will be part of a two minister team who will work together, under the oversight of the elders. Mayfield is 140 member congregation who wants to reach out to the lost.  Other responsibilities will be assigned to each minister based on their experience, attributes, and interests.  Saltillo is in the Northeast corner of Mississippi about 10 miles north of Tupelo. GA: The Rose Hill congregation is looking for a full-time preacher. Their website is rosehillchurch.com.  Contact the search committee at (706) 322-8759, email: rosehillcocsearchcommittee@gmail.com They have no preference in marital status. The ideal candidate will be a man with at least two years of post-secondary education in Biblical Studies and preferably ten years of experience in preaching and evangelizing. The candidate's responsibilities will include preaching and teaching not only on Sunday and Wednesday nights, but, at other times as deemed necessary by the Elders or the candidate (personal Bible studies, equipping classes, etc). Other duties will include pre-marital counseling, weddings, funerals, etc. They are looking for someone who enjoys visiting the congregation whether sick or well, home or hospital, and understands the value of a relationship with those to whom he ministers. The church has three Elders and five Deacons and approximately 170 active members. More than 300,000 people live within a four-county, two-state area which includes Fort Benning, Georgia.
