TN: This self-scoop from Cloyd Frock “About an hour after you posted my self-scoop about leaving the Parsons church, and posting Rutherford's need for a preacher in the same batch of scoops, I connected with them, and after a few discussions and a visit, they extended an offer and I accepted it. I have no means for comparison, but it has to be at least in your top 10 quickest connections in the history of the Scoop Blog   Nevertheless, I'm grateful for your service to the church, in general, and to her preachers, in particular.”

TN: John Nichols is moving from the Netherlands church in the Cookeville area to Collegeside in Cookeville.

TN: If you are in Mid-TN and interesting in some additional income the Tennessee Children’s Home in Spring Hill had a GREAT need for night staff. If you are interesting in knowing more text Dana Lawson at 931 626-2853.

CO: From Joseph Becker who is the minister at Steamboat in Steamboat Springs. His scoop is unusual, so I will just post most of it as is: “We are a small-but-healthy congregation of the mainstream fellowship of the Churches of Christ. I am looking for a mission-minded young man, a recent graduate, who is an outdoor sports enthusiast, who can sing, and who would venture the opportunity to come to a resort town and build a worship ministry from scratch. While this congregation is financially well, I cannot currently offer anything in the way of monetary compensation. I can offer room and board in our home, and I can almost guarantee that he will have no difficulty finding a job locally. My vision is that he will lead worship at our congregation, work as much as necessary, and play as much as possible (skiing, hiking, biking, hunting, singing)—making friends, and recruiting fellow singers to build a worship team.” Contact Joseph at 907-701-9663. Or Steamboat Church of Christ 1698 Lincoln Avenue PO Box 771153 Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 josephpeterbecker@gmail.com.

That's what we have right now. Let us know what we missed, got wrong or left out. Hope you have a super weekend and a better week beginning.
