It is on 24/7. Their simple goal is to encourage the church! Thanks to Corey Sawyers for pointing this out to us. 

AL: The week’s first scoop goes to Mark Posey. Mark and his family have worked with the Austinville church for 25 years. Sunday he announced that he will be the new preacher in Winfield. TN: The church in Sevierville is looking for a preacher http://seviervillecoc.wixsite.com/home.  

MS: Scoop to John Gardner. The Taylorsville church is looking for a bi-vocational preacher to live in the small town of 1,500 and help the church re-establish its presence in the community. They have no elders and numbers less than a dozen members. It is the only church of Christ in Smith County. They prefer a man with a family, but will consider a single man.  Contact:  Royce "Bub" Duncan (601) 785-4393. 

NV: The Desert Church of Christ located in Pahrump is seeking a full-time minister. They have 20 members. “The congregation is stable, but we are only able to pay a small stipend. The ideal candidate should either be retired or willing to obtain gainful employment. The area here is a mission field.” He will be expected to teach, preach and evangelize. “We are in dire need of a minister who is able to not only minister to the members, but to the community at-large.” They want a man who will lead the congregation in community outreach efforts. Interested send resume to Desert Church of Christ P. TN: Scoop to Richard Bentley. The Rocky Top church has a Sunday morning attendance of 40. They are in the north part of Anderson County. The county population is 75,000 and is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Knoxville. TX: The self-scoop to Jack Wilkie. He will be moving to work with the Forney church (on the eastern edge of the Dallas area). He has been at Pritchett for about 5 years.  

TN: The self-scoop to Jeff Smith. Jeff will be working with the Coopertown Church of Christ as their preacher. He and his wife, Amber, will be moving there in September. 

SC: Scoop to Carter Hoover. The Anderson Church of Christ is looking for a full-time minister. The congregation was once a mission point of the Centerville Church of Christ but is now a flourishing congregation in a town filled with opportunities. The church is made up of 80 members and has 3 elders.  Anyone interested in applying or looking for more information should contact John Plemmons (931) 260-4226.

TN: The Hartsville Pike church has hired Josh Moore of Weatherford, TX as their new Youth/Family Minister. 

GA/AL: Jeremy Pate is leaving the Buford congregation in Georgia and going to work for Apologetics Press in Montgomery, AL. The website for the good Buford church is https://bufordcoc.com/

MS: Abel Nicholas is moving to work with the to Amory church to work as their Youth Minister.

KY: Watterson Trail Church of Christ in Louisville is searching for an experienced, mature, evangelistic pulpit minister to work as a team with the elders, deacons and various ministry leaders. TN: Our dear brother Billy Smith of Freed-Hardeman University has announced his intent to step down from his position as dean of the College of Biblical Studies. He will continue teaching at FHU as the Distinguished Professor of Bible. The college has announced that Mark Blackwelder has been named the new dean and Doug Burleson has been appointed assistant dean, succeeding David Powell who continues as a member of the biblical studies faculty. Justin Rogers will become the director of the Graduate School of Theology, the role that brother Mark had held. Congratulations to all involved.

TX: Kevin W. Rhodes will be the new Director of the Brown Trail School of Preaching. He will be leaving the Cleburne congregation without a preacher https://cleburnechurch.com/.
