Much news today
Stay with us this morning. Lots of scoops and info. And let us know what we missed.
NOTE 1: Several have asked about congregations accepting donations for hurricane relief. I know there are several out there but the first I connected with us the Myrtle Beach congregation. The preacher there is Steven Guy. Their address is 4500 Wild Iris Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. They are connected to a lot of the churches in that area that received significant damage.
NOTE 2: Lance Cordell let us know that Ralph Steury, who preach the gospel for a long time in Missouri and Oklahoma and was the the church at Calvert City for 23 years passed away recently. He was 94 and a delight.
NOTE 3: Larry and Betty Moncrief are looking at the possibility of opening a Christian, non-profit thrift store and service center for those in need. They want to find causes within the church to be the benefactors of the items, goods, and monetary income. They have a heart for the people of Appalachia and children's homes in North Alabama. If you have any leads, website info, phone numbers, etc., of any organizations with connections or undergirding to these two groups contact Larry and Betty Moncrief lam6514@outlook.com or on Instant Church Directory.
