Send resumes to srmalone@frontiernet.net

TN: The Rural Hill church is seeking to fill a ministry position. They have a unique situation. Their preacher, our friend Dan Dozier 3 years ago began to discuss with the elders about the hiring of its next preaching minister being different than normally happens. They are taking a pro-active approach. When in January, their associate minister, Jon Reynolds, accepted a ministry role at the Berea Church of Christ in Lebanon it opened a door. The concept is that the new minister will be a younger man who will work alongside Dan (not for or under him) for a time so that they can make a more gradual transition in pulpit ministers.  Dan states: “I have never been jealous of who stands in Rural Hill’s pulpit as long as they love the Lord, love His people, and preach the solid message of the gospel. Nor do I fear being displaced; there is more than enough fulfilling work for me to do at Rural Hill.” You can find more info and apply through the “job posting” link on their website www.ruralhill.org.

SC: Self-scoop to Wade Phillips b.wade.phillips@gmail.com. The Twin City church in Batesburg-Leesville has hired Tony Lopez. Tony will be moving from Austin, TX. This will be his first full time work. The former preacher, Wade Phillips, is now in the process of raising support to work on Guam.
