MI: Prayer request. The Lakeshore Church in Holland had a fire in their church building on April 19, 2019. It was caused by an electrical short. They are currently holding services in their fellowship hall. The church building was built in 1966 and was rather dated. The classrooms in the basement suffered smoke damage to where pretty much everything has to be thrown out - that means the resource room as well as a lot of class material that was in the resource room as well as the classroom. The upstairs where the auditorium is and a couple of closets, the stage, the lobby, the rest rooms all have to be tore out down to the studs and start over as far as the entire upstairs in concerned. All of the pews and pulpit and communion table have to be replaced because of heat and smoke damage. Please pray for patience on the part of the congregation. Their minister is Mike Scholten, lakeshorecoc@yahoo.com.
