TN: The Lafayette Church of Christ in Lafayette, TN is looking for a full-time youth minister. The former YM has moved into the pulpit. In addition to a full-time pulpit minister, we also have a part-time associate minister. The church at Lafayette has been returning to pre COVID numbers and there is a significant amount of excitement in the congregation as they grow! This is a well-established church that has a very active and involved youth group with tremendous support from the congregation and elders. IL: The East Peoria church is looking for a pulpit minister who “is an encourager, teacher and devoted follower of Christ.” They have about 75 members and four elders. They are predominately older but have families of all ages. In addition to preaching and teaching, they “seek someone willing to serve with the congregation thru activities like visiting the sick, encouraging others to Christ through Biblical teachings, connecting through fellowship and building up the body of Christ.” They do have a preacher’s house. MD: The Suitland Road Church of Christ is seeking a full-time Pulpit Minister. We are searching for “ A man of God” who is “Biblically sound and spiritually grounded.” He must have a minimum of 5 years experience preaching and teaching biblically-based sermons and lessons with everyday application to life in Christ. “He must be humble, self-disciplined, responsible, and organized. He must have strong interpersonal skills and good verbal/written communication skills. He must be willing to work with the Elders in growing the congregation’s membership through teaching and preaching sound doctrine from the Word of God. Our ideal candidate should be married with a wife/family who faithfully serves God and works alongside him at the congregation.” The church has about 85 post-pandemic attendance. TN: The Double Springs Church (www.dscoc.com) is looking for a minister. Duties will include evangelizing through community outreach, ministering to the congregation, preaching, and teaching Bible classes. Prior experience in ministry is preferred and salary is negotiable based upon experience. The position could be filled as full-time, part-time, or bi-vocational. Double Springs Church of Christ is located in the growing community of Cookeville, which is conveniently situated about an hour east of Nashville. They have a typical attendance of around 175 persons with four elders, five deacons, an associate minister, and a youth minister. TN: The Walter Hill congregation is actively searching for a preacher/evangelist/minister. He will work closely with the Eldership and other ministers to provide leadership for and be actively involved in Walter Hill church ministry activities and events. Preferred qualifications: At least three years full-time preaching experience; Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Their current preacher, Paul Norwood is retiring after 25 years preaching at Walter Hill and will continue as the part-time associate.
