AL: Thomas Sneed has accepted the preaching role at Annapolis Avenue in the Florence area.

KY: The Farmington Church of Christ is looking for a “dynamic preacher/leader to serve the spiritual needs of the Farmington church and the community.”  He will have responsibilities to lead the day-to-day operation of the church, and take care of other spiritual needs in the church and the community. TN/GA: Jon Mitchell is moving to Murfreesboro to work with the East Main Church of Christ as their pulpit minister.  The Calhoun church is beginning their search for a new pulpit minister. TX: The West Freeway Church of Christ in Fort Worth is looking for it’s next preachers. They have 170 currently, and 250 (Pre-Covid) in attendance. The church has five shepherds, an outreach minister, and youth/family minister on staff full time. They want a man who is godly, with a family, and who is “knowledgeable and well-grounded in scripture, experienced in ministry and capable of leading us toward the future as our pulpit minister. AR: The College church in Searcy is in the process of searching for THREE additional staff members. Each position will be focused on an aspect of Youth Ministry.

1. A youth minister that would oversee the full youth and family program (grades 7-12) while having the specific responsibility for planning and directing activities and functions for all youth grades 10-12.

2. An assistant youth minister (male) that would be under the direct supervision of the youth minister and his primary responsibility would be for planning and directing the activities and functions for all youth grades 7-9.

3. An assistant youth minister (female) that would be under the direct supervision of the youth minister and her primary responsibility would be for planning and directing activities and functions for female youth in grades 7-12.

AL: The Northport congregation has hired Jordan Alker to be their new youth minister. He comes there from Walnut Street in Greenville. 

AK:  The South Anchorage church in Anchorage is accepting applications for a full-time preacher/evangelist. They want an experienced man who has worked with smaller and older congregations of less than 50 people without elders. They want a married man whose wife and family will take an active role in activities of the congregation. He should be an energetic self-starter with a motivation to build unity and growth within the church, who has a demonstrated ability to teach and lead others. They have a single-family 4-bedroom home close to the church building. A passenger van is also provided for work-related activities. Compensation is commensurate with experience and is negotiable. They are seeking an “adventure-minded individual willing to make a long-term commitment to a congregation trying to grow and reach out to the surrounding community.” Send contact information to sacoc@gci.net. NJ: The Freehold Church of Christ is looking for a “lead-evangelist.” The congregation was established in 1981 and currently has an average attendance of 50 people with no elders or deacons. They “are trusting God to guide our search to a man who is both seasoned in practical Christian living, and strong spiritual judgment. Our candidate will have the ability to build up the body of Christ, and guide our members into effective outreach.” They want a man who has demonstrated the ability to grow the church and who shares their strong vision for reaching the lost in their community and surrounding areas. They want a man who will be a team-focused leader who has significant experience in training, mentoring, and equipping leadership and ministry teams.  In addition to other duties he must be willing to participate in in-home Bible studies and follow-ups with new converts and visitors. AL: The Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford is looking for a Youth Minister. Expectations will include your involvement in working closely with the ministry team, elders, deacons, and the entire congregation. The role involves helping them grow spiritually and numerically. The new YM will play an active role in the planning, developing and executing of programs under the oversight of the eldership to accomplish both short-term and long-term goals. Qualifications: 1. Five (5) years of experience. 2. College level training in Biblical studies preferred. 3. The ability to apply Biblical principles in everyday application. 4. Responsible for maintaining respectful working atmosphere with control while exhibiting an example of love and respect. 5. Must live a Biblically patterned life that is both morally and financially disciplined. 6. Must be a team player. 7. Experience in working with an Eldership.
